here we are on another monthly meeting ,,
we surely had a wonderful time and one of my friends Mrs. Hoda visited our guild for the first time and hopefully she enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having her ..
it felt strange not having Elsa with us at the meeting , we miss her a lot already and we wish her all the best ..

Here is a quick look on our January meeting, and I have been busy attending the Dubai International Quilt show - which I will post its great news later ! – . So with no further delay here are the highlights .
I did a demonstration on the “Flip Flop” quilts, taken from the book “Flip Flop Block Quilts” , and the template is available in our shop !

Today I was happy to celebrate the beginning of 2012 with my dear friends, slowly we will return to our loved routines, quilting & sewing and crafting all day! We had a traditional setup to take pictures and here are they ladies!

here is the one where I used the twisted square ruler
a crochet table topping
and my great grandmother’s Bedouin rug called (Sadu) which is probably 60 years old or even more! I love all the small details and how vibrant the colors are..
