Happy New Year all !

Today I was happy to celebrate the beginning of 2012 with my dear friends, slowly we will return to our loved routines, quilting & sewing and crafting all day! We had a traditional setup to take pictures and here are they ladies!

and my great grandmother’s Bedouin rug called (Sadu) which is probably 60 years old or even more! I love all the small details and how vibrant the colors are..

Here we are again in our monthly meeting after a “Long” break for summer and holidays .. the last time we met was in July, so the ladies are back excited and carried with them a beautiful finished projects to show and tell . I am happy to see again !

Kelly brought these electric colored quilts, all full of joy! With nice embroidered detailed signature at the back.

Frances brought in a variety of quilts, variety in colors and designs .. and we loved them !

Paige did this quilts with the cowboy theme fabric, lots of beautiful blues and reds.

Leslie this time brought a nice sized bag with paisley print and pink strap .

Maryam full circle fan quilt, was an amazing quilt which everybody admired how she attached the fan on the block.

Elsa made this quilt as a gift for her friend, she succeeded in doing a one color blocks with embroidery.

May did these girly multi colored quilts for her daughters, and also a beautiful reversible quilt.

Cindy did this “Historical” quilt out of blocks sewn by her Grandmother and she completed it, this is not the first one.

The other quilt by Cindy is called the Happy Stripper made of bright colored fabric strips, with the small fish quilting detail shown here also.

2nd cut them and gather them in a certain way to get the exact shape on the right ..
